By default TortoiseSVN always has a GUI (Graphical User Interface) associated with it. But on the installer (of version 1.7 and later) you can select the 'command line client tools' option so you can call svn commands (like svn commit and svn update) from the command line. https://celestialscope.weebly.com/vpn-client-for-mac-free.html. The working copies of the command line svn, SCPlugin and RapidSVN are all compatible with each other, so you can use whatever client you like for a particular task.

I have heard only good things about Versions (I haven't tried it myself, moved all my projects to git):

svn

While it isn't free, I'm partial to Cornerstone. Seems worth the money to me. Tumblr client for macosx.
